Edward J. "EJ" Scarillo Jr. drafts legal memoranda and motions for various stages of the litigation process.
During law school, EJ was a student attorney at Seton Hall’s Immigrants’ Rights and International Human Rights Clinic. At the clinic, he handled all aspects of an asylum claim, and successfully obtained asylum for a detained refugee at a full merits hearing. EJ served as a legal extern for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Law Division, where he researched federal and state consumer laws and drafted memoranda covering consumer fraud, corporation, and transportation laws. EJ was also an intern for the Hon. Steven C. Mannion, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He was a summer associate with the firm in 2016.
