Sarah E. Kalman* assists clients with complex insurance and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Sarah is actively involved with life insurance-related secondary market issues, including stranger-originated life insurance (STOLI), fraud, and premium financing litigation. Sarah also works with property and casualty insurers and broker general agencies on coverage issues and premises liability, and provides trial and appellate assistance in software contract cases.
While in law school, Sarah served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gene E.K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Sarah was also an extern in the Temple Law Compliance Practicum, where she consulted on risk management and legal compliance topics in the health care industry, such as evaluating technical security standards for medical devices and finding industry-specific trends in corporate integrity agreements.
