Michael J. Herrmann advises hospitals, health systems and other health industry clients on transactional and regulatory matters. Michael focuses his transactional practice on mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, and private equity transactions. He also has particular experience with the sale and purchase of physician groups.
Michael is well-versed in a number of health care compliance laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law and HIPAA.
While in law school, Michael volunteered at the Cook County Circuit Court Self-Help Center, participated in his school’s Protective Order Project to assist victims of domestic violence, and served as a judicial intern for Illinois’ Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Clerkship Program.
