Keith R. Anderson counsels health care clients on the business and legal aspects of strategic transactions in both the nonprofit and for-profit spheres. His clients include academic medical centers, large health systems, community hospitals, integrated delivery systems and physician group practices.
Keith is frequently engaged by health care organizations to negotiate and structure critical strategic affiliations and joint ventures, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and physician-hospital ventures. He often represents Catholic-sponsored and other faith-based health care organizations in complex transactional, affiliation and governance matters. His experience also includes the development of managed care organizations and the negotiation of managed care contracting arrangements.
Previously, Keith served as the outside general counsel of one of the country’s largest health industry group purchasing organizations. Before entering private practice, he clerked in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
