Chicago associate Jeremiah Posedel co-authored an article for PinG titled, “Safe Harbor Invalidated - Whats Next?”

In the article, Jeremiah discussed the European Court of Justice's landmark decision invalidating the EU-U.S. Safe Harbor, which was relied upon by over 4,000 U.S. companies to lawfully transfer personal data from the EU to the U.S. The article, co-authored with Paul Voigt of Taylor Wessing (Berlin, Germany), explored the ramifications of the ECJ's decision global data flows and the alternative data transfer mechanisms available to entities in the U.S.
