Washington, D.C., partner Phil Mause and Philadelphia associate Mark Hammond wrote an article for the World Law Group’s quarterly publication WLG Connections on President Barack Obama’s stimulus package and how it may impact U.S. global warming policy and the energy industry.  The article discusses legislative and regulatory developments that may lead to greenhouse gas regulation, including the likelihood that “cap and trade” legislation will be introduced in Congress this year. Phil and Mark note that, while the precise details and timing of such legislation are hard to predict, they believe it likely will be enacted during the current session of Congress.
