There have been many significant new executive compensation developments of which tax-exempt hospitals and health systems should be aware. These include the recent release by the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) of (1) its Report on Exempt Organizations Executive Compensation Compliance (the “Report”); and (2) a redesigned draft IRS Form 990 (i.e., the annual informational tax return required to be fi led by tax-exempt organizations).
