New Jersey associate Kaitlyn Stone will be recognized by the New Jersey State Bar Association as a recipient of the 2019 New Attorney Award for pro bono service on October 24, 2019, at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick. Kaitlyn is a pro bono volunteer with Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (“VLJ”) and with Legal Services of Northwest New Jersey. Since 2015, she has helped more than 80 low-income clients pursue expungement of their criminal records, helping them overcome one of the most challenging obstacles to successful community reintegration. Kaitlyn was also recognized by Volunteer Lawyers for Justice as “Attorney of the Month” in July 2017.
