Philadelphia partner Kenneth Murphy received the 2019 Renaissance Man Award, presented by Drinker Biddle alumnus Ginene Lewis on behalf of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division (WLD). The award celebrates Ken’s achievements and was presented to him at the WLD Annual Jazz in June Scholarship Reception at the Kline Institute of Trial Advocacy in Philadelphia. Drinker Biddle was a proud sponsor of this event and is a supporter of the mission of the WLD.

The event recognized the Hon. Jacqueline F. Allen and Rhonda Hill Wilson, Esq., and served as a fundraising opportunity for WLD’s Justice Juanita Kidd Stout Tuition Scholarship and Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Scholarship. Formed more than 35 years ago, the WLD seeks to address challenges to advancement in the legal profession that female African American law students, lawyers, and judges encounter. To further its mission, the WLD awards scholarships to female African American law students from the six law schools in the Philadelphia area.
