New York partner Jerry Hathaway has been named a Fellow of the New York Bar Foundation. The New York Bar Foundation is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization established in 1950, with the goals of facilitating the delivery of legal services to the public, improving the administration of justice, advancing legal research and education, and promoting high standards of professional ethics.

An individual is generally nominated to become a Fellow by a Director on the Board of The Foundation or by a member of The Fellows and is elected by the full Board. The number of Fellows is limited under The Foundation Bylaws to one percent of the New York State Bar Association membership in each of the state’s 13 judicial districts plus 100 at-large members. Fellows are instrumental to the growth and success of The New York Bar Foundation, and it is an honor to be nominated as such.
