Philadelphia partner Dave Woolf was quoted in the BBC article “America's Answer to the Gender Pay Gap.” The article discusses the flurry of new laws that bar employers from asking potential employees about their current earnings, so that new salary offers are not based on the applicant’s previous salary. Since women often start out with lower salaries, these laws aim to eliminate the gender pay gap.

Dave said that the idea is gaining traction and that companies recognize that “it’s just the reality now.”
