Chicago partner Daniel J. Collins was named President-Elect of the Chicago American Inn of Court, a legal society of judges, lawyers, legal scholars and law students who focus on fostering civility and professionalism in the practice of law.

Dan is a Managing Partner of the firm and in his practice represents companies, boards of directors, and senior executives in responding to government and regulatory inquiries, conducting internal investigations, and handling other complex litigation matters. He is also a former federal prosecutor.

“Dan is an excellent lawyer with a diverse legal resume packed with significant accomplishments,” said Tinos Diamantatos, president of the Chicago American Inn of Court and a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. “He has been an avid supporter of our Inn for years and I have no doubt that he will bring the same enthusiasm to his role as the organization’s next president.”

The Chicago group is part of the American Inns of Court, a non-partisan association with the goals of promoting legal excellence, civility, professionalism and ethics, through continuing education and mentoring. Members of the inns come from all levels and backgrounds in the legal profession and meet regularly for discussions, trainings and events centered around those aforementioned goals.
