New York counsel Rich Lomuscio was recently quoted in a Law360 article discussing the emergence of global "megafirms." Rich noted that, regardless of law firm size, the question of talent is paramount from the client’s perspective, and rapidly growing firms would do well to remember that general counsel will always look to quality over quantity in sourcing work.

“In my experience, law departments will look at individual firms and lawyers at those firms for expertise,” Rich was quoted as saying. “And whether or not that expertise sits with a 3,000-person law firm or a 200-person law firm won’t necessarily drive that decision.”
