Drinker Biddle & Reath’s New York City office was listed as the third best place to work in New York City by Crain’s New York Business.
Out of 100 companies listed, Drinker Biddle achieved the highest ranking of any law firm and surpassed others in diverse sectors such as media, advertising, accounting, engineering, real estate and technology. The firm earned its ranking notwithstanding the fact that its Midtown office was launched only three years ago.
“The firm’s New York office is an extremely tightknit workplace. The happiness and professional satisfaction of our lawyers and staff are of the utmost importance to all of us at the firm, and vital to the consistent delivery of superior service to our clients. The Crain’s ranking is recognition of the supportive and cordial environment we have fostered,” said James M. Altieri, the Regional Partner in Charge of the New York office.
“The New York office has expanded to more than 30 lawyers over the last three years as we continue to attract and recruit leading lawyers to join one of the best places to work in NYC,” added Altieri.
Drinker Biddle’s New York City office, located in America’s Tower in Midtown Manhattan, provides legal counsel in areas including insurance regulation and transactions, bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, insurance litigation and coverage, commercial litigation, employee benefits, estate and personal planning, and investment management.
Companies entered Crain’s two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part involved an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
