Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP announced a new identity for its Lobbying & Advocacy Team: the District Policy Group. The new name reinforces its boutique government relations brand while allowing it to maintain and build on its growing network of clients and relationships in Washington and throughout the United States.
“Our Lobbying & Advocacy Team has been increasing in strength, effectiveness, expertise, service offerings and client reach for some years,” said Alfred W. Putnam, Jr., Chairman of Drinker Biddle. “By giving the group a distinct and unique identity, we are able to showcase the group’s reputation for its comprehensiveness and nimbleness in serving clients.”
The District Policy Group will continue to be an integral part of Drinker Biddle in Washington. The group counsels business clients in a range of industries, including health, insurance, social sciences and biodefense. It will continue to offer a full range of government relations services, including direct lobbying, policy analysis and development, grassroots organizing, advocacy and social media training, regulatory and agency advocacy, Capitol Hill advocacy days and other Washington-based events planning, legislative and regulatory monitoring, coalition building and government relations strategic planning.
“All of us at the District Policy Group are thrilled to have a new brand that highlights our boutique approach while continuing to benefit from the substantial resources of one the nation’s leading law firms,” said Ilisa Halpern Paul, President of the District Policy Group and Managing Government Relations Director for Drinker Biddle. “Our clients have long known that we function as a specialized, personalized, one-stop shop, but now we have a brand that reflects how we operate.”
In support of its new identity, the District Policy Group has also launched a new website. The site, www.districtpolicygroup.com, incorporates the team’s new branding as well as provides in-depth background on the District Policy Group and the legislative, policy and advocacy services it provides to clients.
The District Policy Group comprises lobbyists and public policy professionals who have advanced client interests before the legislative and executive branches of government. The bipartisan team offers more than two decades of experience in government relations and advocacy.
