Washington, D.C., of counsel Lee Petro and associate Jennifer Oberhausen attended the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council Broadband and Social Justice Award Ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Washington, D.C.

Drinker Biddle was acknowledged on the night as Martha Wright and others connected with the prison phone initiative received the Digital Media Social Justice Award from FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn.

Also honored were the Campaign for Prison Phone Justice, the Prison Phone Rates Collaborative, and Ava DuVernay, Writer/Director of the Sundance Award-winning film Middle of Nowhere.
