Washington, D.C., partner T.J. Sullivan was quoted in BNA’s Health Law Reporter in an article on the top 10 health law issues for 2013.
The Reporter asked its advisory board members to rank their top 10 issues for 2013 and explain their reasoning. Overall, health reform has driven the top issues for 2013, with high-profile provisions of the Affordable Care Act due to take place in one year’s time.
T.J., a partner in the Health Law Practice Group, said that with the Supreme Court challenge put to rest and legislative repeal out of the picture, ‘‘the fate of the ACA is settled. Now we only need to wait to see what the states will do with respect to Medicaid and health insurance exchanges.’’
T.J. also commented on Medicaid, Medicare, Fraud and Abuse, Antitrust, and taxation as hot issues for the year ahead.
