Thomas F. Campion, a partner in the Florham Park office of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, was honored today as the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law 2009 Professional Lawyer of the Year for Morris County at a luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

The Professional Lawyer of the Year Awards are given jointly by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law and the county bar associations, and honor those “committed to the ideals of professionalism and well recognized in the legal community for character and competence.” Campion was unanimously selected by the Morris County Bar Association as “someone respected by all and looked upon as a model of professional behavior.”

Campion, a senior member of the Products Liability and Mass Tort Practice Group and cochair of the Professional Services Liability Team and, has served as vice chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court Commission on the Rules of Professional Conduct and chairman of the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Trial Attorney Certification. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and is certified as a civil trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
