Mark B. Denbo has become of counsel to the Telecommunications and Mass Media Team of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP’s Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group.
“We are excited to have Mark join our office,” said Anita Cicero, regional partner in charge of the Washington, D.C., office. “As we continue to grow our presence here in the District, it is important that we add excellent lawyers with regulatory experience such as Mark’s.”
Denbo has many years of experience assisting clients with matters before the Federal Communications Commission. He has also handled a broad range of other matters for broadcasters, including negotiating purchase and sales agreements, local marketing agreements, employment agreements and real estate leases. Denbo joined the firm from Fleischman and Harding LLP.
“With his extensive experience we anticipate Mark will need no time to settle in,” said Howard Liberman, a partner on Drinker Biddle’s Telecommunications and Mass Media Team. “He will be jumping into a number of matters almost immediately, and that will be a big help to our clients in this fast-paced regulatory environment.”
Denbo earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 1997 and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992.
