On May 21, 2019, Washington, D.C. partner and chair of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Group Laura Phillips will present on a panel at the Connectivity Expo in Orlando, Florida. The panel, titled “Understanding the FCC’s 5G Wireless Infrastructure Orders.” The panel will address the FCC’s actions to streamline 5G deployment and provide a summary and update on the implementation of the FCC’s significant 2018 Order. Co-panelists include Joshua S. Turner, the co-chair of Communications Enforcement and Compliance at Wiley Rein, and Robert Millar, Associate General Counsel at Crown Castle.
The panel is part of the conference’s Advocacy track. These sessions will take a look at federal, state and local government policies that affect wireless infrastructure deployment, and are intended to provide an understanding of these issues and how they may affect businesses.
