Washington, D.C., of counsel Jason R. Baron guest lectured at two law schools in Kathmandu during the first week of December 2018. Jason was invited by the National Law School of Nepal, as well as the Kathmandu School of Law, to teach classes on artificial intelligence and the law, including how AI is being used in the fields of e-discovery and information governance.

While in Kathmandu, Jason was also invited to speak at an event hosted by the Internet Society of Nepal and the Center for Media Research in Nepal, on the subject of “Open Government, Freedom of Information, and Privacy in the Digital Age.”

His trip to Nepal followed an invitation to chair the first e-discovery conference held in India, which took place on December 1, 2018. Learn about the e-discovery conference.
