Kathleen Murphy, Customs and International Trade partner in Chicago, spoke at the International Compliance Professionals Association Annual EU Conference in Amsterdam on “The World Trade Organization Adrift – A Period of Transition.” Her presentation focused on the World Trade Organization’s ability to regain its stability as an effective international trade forum and to deflect growing protectionism that is sparking global trade wars. 

The conference took place in Amsterdam from June 17-19 and covered global trade topics dominating today’s headlines.  Attendees included senior company officials, internal trade counsel, and company trade compliance directors, managers, and specialists.
