Chicago partner Stephanie Dodge Gournis co-presented a health care industry webinar for Deloitte titled, “Updated FLSA Overtime Regulations Webinar for Health Care Providers.” The presentation discussed practical strategies for implementing the DOL’s new FLSA Overtime Regulations, which go into effect on December 1, 2016.

New regulations will increase the salary threshold from $23,660 to $47,476 annually – a 100 percent increase in the minimum salary required to be paid to employees classified as exempt under the FLSA. Stephanie discussed strategic tips for health care HR professionals and organizations to be compliant ready.
