Chicago associate Jeremiah Posedel will be speaking at an event co-hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany and TaylorWessing on November 10 in Berlin.
Jeremiah will be speaking with Dr. Alexander Dix, the Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Berlin and Germany’s representative to the Article 29 Working Party, which is made up of representatives of the national data protection authorities and the European Commission.
Jeremiah and Dr. Alexander Dix will address the recent Safe Harbor invalidation in a session titled: “Safe Harbor Invalidated: What’s Next? Prospects for Transatlantic Data Transfers.” Jeremiah will represent the U.S. perspective on the future of cross-border data transfers, while Dr. Alexander Dix will represent the EU perspective.
