The Drinker Biddle Customs & International Trade Team continued its series of webinar presentations that focus on key trade issues impacting the movement of goods across international boundaries.

Chicago partner Kathleen M. Murphy and associate Beata K. Spuhler presented the third webinar titled, “Successful Strategies for Your First Sale Program.” This webinar reviewed the requirements for application of first sale valuation to U.S. imports and will address recent CBP precedent in this area. The speakers shared their experiences with successfully implementing use of first sale valuation in various transaction structures, provide helpful hints and discuss handling hurdles from the business perspective to promote use of first sale internally.
