Philadelphia partner Larry Fox spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s “Protecting Our Children From Abuse” seminar on Monday, Feb. 27, in Philadelphia, PA.

In the past few years, numerous high-profile stories have arisen concerning allegations of sexual abuse of children within well respected institutions and organizations.

The seminar focused on the myriad legal issues created by such allegations and the ways in which the system might need to change in the future to better protect children.

Larry, former chair of the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the current Crawford Lecturer at Yale Law School, discussed the ethical implications of conflicts inherent in situations that involve an entity and its employees, officers, directors and/or volunteers.
