Chicago partner David Braun will speak on a panel at the 132nd Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association. The INTA annual meeting offers educational programming for all levels of practitioner expertise on important international trademark issues and developments. David will speak on the panel for “Antitrust Implications of Trademark Agreements,” which will offer an interactive brainstorming session on the clauses that could be introduced into trademark agreements that may be critical under the prevailing antitrust laws in the United States and the European Union. The panel will put a special focus on licensing, franchising and delimitation agreements. Other issues to be covered include field of use restrictions, no-challenge clauses, territorial restrictions, exhaustion and parallel imports. David, a member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group's International Team, will specifically address “U.S. Antitrust Law and Trademarks.”
