Washington, D.C., partner M. Howard Morse, is co-chairing a two-day advanced antitrust seminar sponsored by the Practising Law Institute (PLI) Feb. 8 and 9, 2010, in New York.  The program, which will also be webcast, will address “Antitrust and the Deal 2010” on Feb. 8, providing an analysis of antitrust issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and intellectual property licensing agreements.  On Feb. 9, the program will address “Antitrust Counseling & Compliance 2010,” providing insights on counseling clients that deal with distribution and marketing issues, including resale price maintenance, bundled pricing, loyalty discounts and exclusive dealing, as well as antitrust compliance and ethics issues.  Howard, co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group, will present a session on Feb. 8 on the merger review process, and will moderate other sessions during the program.
