Washington, D.C., senior government relations director Jodie Curtis and government relations manager Erin Will Morton facilitated a congressional briefing and secured congressional support for Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative, one of the Health Government Relations Practice Group’s clients.  The briefing, "Controlling Deadly Neglected Tropical Diseases: Opportunities to Expand U.S. Impact,” was held for federal policymakers and discussed the important role of the U.S. government in fighting neglected tropical diseases that affect more than 1.4 billion people worldwide, many of them in the poorest nations, and how those efforts can be expanded.
