Jeremy Scott, government relations director in the Government and Regulatory Affairs practice group in the Washington, D.C., office, conducted a Health Policy Workshop at the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, Maryland Chapter meeting on January 20, 2010, in Baltimore, MD.  Jeremy spoke to the group of local rehabilitation nurses about the importance of legislative advocacy and the lobbying tools made available to them by the national association.  He also presented a brief overview of the debate surrounding health care reform.  The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses is a professional nursing organization that promotes and advances professional rehabilitation nursing practice through education, advocacy, collaboration and research to enhance the quality of life for those affected by disability and chronic illness.
