Washington, D.C., government relations directors Elaine Vining and Jim Twaddell accompanied the leadership of ConvaTec, a leading developer of innovative medical technologies, on visits to Capitol Hill on October 14, 2009. During a series of meetings, they discussed with key senators and representatives new innovations and issues of concern to the company. Elaine also attended the congressional reception "Medical Technology: Innovations for Life," co-sponsored by ConvaTec as part of the AdvaMed 2009 Medical Technology Conference. The event honored members of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus and was widely attended by members of congress as well as participants from the AdvaMed conference.
