George A. Frank, Ph.D., of counsel in the firm’s Philadelphia office will present, “Hot Topics in Patent Law” at the 24th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference in Arlington, Va., from April 1-4, 2009.  His discussion focuses on the 11th Amendment and its relevance to state universities, in which George uses the Baum Research Development v. U of Massachusetts case as an example.  George will conclude his speech on the importance of waivers according to the 11th Amendment.
