Karen will speak at the Chicago Chapter of Delta Nu Alpha’s (DNA) monthly business dinner at the Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights, Ill. Her presentation will focus on how speed-to-market for companies doing business across international borders is no longer just about the fastest transit times, but also require companies being deemed "secure traders." The presentation will cover the top security initiatives impacting companies in 2008, including, changes to the C-TPAT program, "10+2" Import Security Filing, Global Trade Exchange ("GTX") and foreign trading partner initiatives (e.g., EU-AEO). DNA is an international organization of professional men and women in all areas and at all levels of transportation and logistics with an emphasis on education.
