Mark C. Hammond, associate in the Environmental Practice Group, was a featured speaker at the 51st Annual NPIRI Technical Conference held on Sept. 4 through Sept. 7 at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Itasca, Ill.  Mark presented “Responding to Customers Requests for Regulatory Certifications” at the closing session on Friday.  He discussed the difficulties in meeting various state and local certification requirements and how to provide superior customer service without facing additional legal liability.

The National Printing Ink ‘Research Institute (NPIRI) is the technical branch of the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM).  A trade association representing the printing ink industry in the United States, NAPIM provides direction to management in the areas of environmental issues, business management, government regulations and regulatory compliance.
