M. Howard Morse, a partner in the firm's Washington DC office, will be chairing a session at the June 2007 ABA Sections of Antitrust and Intellectual Property Law Conference, Intellectual Property/Antitrust:  Strategic Choices, Evolving Standards, and Practical Solutions.  The panel will discuss the antitrust risks of ex ante disclosure and negotiation of licensing terms, intellectual property disclosure obligations of standard setting participants, and the benefits and pitfalls of consortia and joint ventrues compared to formal standards development organizations.
