General Electric Company (GE) restructured and expanded a joint venture with PJSC Inter RAO UES, a leading Russian energy holding and a major player in the international energy market. Faegre Drinker advised GE on the transaction. The deal allows the two companies to further localize the production of high-capacity gas turbines in Russia in order to meet the requirements of the state investment programs for the construction and modernization of power generating capacities in the Russian Federation.
