Representative Experience
Victor has litigated several class actions and multidistrict and coordinated proceedings, including for:
- The Customs and Tax Administration for the Kingdom of Denmark in the $2.1 billion cum-ex tax fraud multidistrict litigation.
- An investor in the first-ever jury verdict finding that certain cryptocurrency products were not securities.
- A session replay vendor and various e-commerce companies in California Invasion of Privacy Act and Video Privacy Protection Act class actions.
- A leading diagnostic and drug development company in Americans with Disabilities Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act class actions.
- A consortium of southern California cities and water providers in state and multidistrict litigations against manufacturers of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
- An opioid manufacturer in a securities class action and various shareholders’ derivative actions.
- Prominent retail companies in class actions alleging violations of state false advertising and consumer protection statutes.
- A leading restaurateur in class actions alleging nondisclosure of delivery fees and item price mark-ups.
Victor has also counseled clients in commercial disputes and arbitral proceedings, including for:
- A leading pharmaceutical company in a false advertising and unfair competition case brought by another leading pharmaceutical company.
- A cognac importer in a contractual dispute with a cognac manufacturer.
Victor has also litigated in bankruptcy courts, including for:
- The trustees of Lehman Brothers Inc. and MF Global in adversary proceedings and postconfirmation estate administration.
- An international airline in adversary proceedings and estate administration.
- The heir to a fertilizer fortune in adversary proceedings.
Prior Experience
While in law school, Victor externed for the U.S. DOJ Antitrust Division’s Transportation, Energy, and Agriculture Section and Office of the Chief Legal Advisor. He was also a judicial intern for Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, Judge Carol B. Amon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and Judge Kenneth M. Karas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
