Overview

Heather Carson Perkins co-chaired the American Bar Association’s 46th Annual Forum on Franchising. The event attracted 800 attorneys and professionals from around the country and world and featured 24 workshops, 3 intensive programs and 2 plenary sessions. The plenary sessions were the Forum’s signature Annual Developments program and conversation with Lois C. Greisman, the associate director of the division of marking practices of the United States Federal Trade Commission. 

Andrew Murphy co-presented an intensive session regarding how employment law is changing the franchise relationship, and Brian Schnell co-presented a workshop on the advantages and disadvantages of arbitration and how to draft enforceable provisions.
