Leading Financial Professional Brooke Dunn Returns to Faegre Drinker as Corporate Counsel in Indianapolis

Faegre Drinker announced today that Brooke Dunn has rejoined the firm as counsel in the corporate practice group, previously serving as an associate attorney covering public finance and housing matters. Dunn joins the firm in the Indianapolis office from the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC), where she served as the chief financial officer and treasurer.

With years of hands-on experience as a legal and financial professional offering guidance to nonprofit organizations, Dunn carries significant knowledge in the health care space and offers nonprofit health care clients an insider’s perspective to their matters. She works with nonprofit organizations on issues related to governance, tax-exempt status, public reporting, entity formation, and fundraising and charitable giving.

As the chief financial officer and treasurer of HHC, Dunn oversaw a $2.1 billion budget for the hospital system and was responsible for establishing and monitoring the annual budget and supporting the board of trustees. Prior to law school, Dunn worked in a variety of banking and finance roles.

Dunn currently serves on the boards of several organizations and institutions, including the Gene B. Glick Family Housing Foundation, Transylvania University, Indiana Humanities, Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership and Equity 1821.

Dunn earned her bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University, master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
