Sarah Millar Named One of Chicago’s “40 Under 40”

Sarah Bassler Millar, a partner in the Chicago office and vice-chair of Drinker Biddle's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group, has been honored by The National Law Journal as one of Chicago's "40 Under 40."

Sarah, who joined Drinker Biddle as a summer associate in 2000 and was promoted to partner in 2010, was recognized for her efforts as a leader of the firm's health care reform team.

Sarah advises Fortune 500 and other prominent clients on challenging employee benefits and executive compensation issues. This year, she has successfully guided a major client through two DOL audits and an IRS audit. Additionally, she led the integration process for a client who has recently undergone a significant corporate merger- a process which involved aligning two complex benefit structures into a unified strategy taking into account the new entity's corporate and human resources strategy.

As a Health Care Reform professional, she is a regular speaker at events around the country including recent engagements at the T. Rowe Price Client Forum, The CFO Alliance Dallas Roundtable, and webinars for ASHHRA, The Knowledge Congress, and GCG Financial. Sarah is also a prolific author on employee benefits topics.
