We have represented public officials, as well as organizations and their employees, in connection with matters involving allegations of bribery, the receipt of unlawful gratuities, procurement irregularities, campaign finance violations and lobbying irregularities.
These representations include:
- Representing the Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in an Independent Counsel investigation of alleged bribery and conflict of interest offenses;
- Representing the Postmaster of the U.S. House of Representatives in a Department of Justice investigation and prosecution of House Appropriations Chairman Dan Rostenkowski;
- Representing the former Director of the U.S. Marshals Service in Senate Judiciary Committee and DOJ investigations of alleged perjury and false statements;
- Representing the Executive Assistant to President Clinton in the Whitewater Independent Counsel investigation;
- Obtaining a declination of prosecution for an attorney in connection with an Independent Counsel investigation into allegations of illegal campaign contributions;
- Counseling an employee of a public relations firm in connection with criminal and legislative investigations into lobbying irregularities and efforts to bribe public officials; and
- Representing a state party assembly in connection with a grand jury investigation into issuance of allegedly improper monetary grants.
