Ensuring Health Data Privacy and Security: Minimizing Risk in an Era of Information-Sharing and Social Media

The Advisory Board Company

Chicago partner Jennifer Breuer participated in an Advisory Board webinar on Friday, Jan. 13.

The webinar, titled, “Ensuring Health Data Privacy and Security: Minimizing Risk in an Era of Information-Sharing and Social Media,” addressed the fact that providers may be vulnerable to data and privacy breaches or information abuse as hospitals and health systems build out infrastructure to access and share data across care settings.

Jen, vice chair of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, joined a panel discussion that aims to help providers understand and minimize their exposure to privacy violations and data abuse in an era of social media and information sharing.
