American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration 47th Annual Conference & Exposition

Partners Mark D. Nelson, Michael D. Rosenbaum, K. Bruce Stickler and Douglas B. Swill, along with Senior Government Relations Director Jodie Curtis, spoke at the ASHHRA 47th Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz.

The conference, which began Saturday, Sept. 10, and ran through Tuesday, Sept. 13, was attended by hospital and health care human resource leaders from across the country for educational and networking opportunities.

ASHHRA, the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration, is part of the American Hospital Association.

Mark, Michael, Doug and Jodie spoke at the meeting’s “Strategic Health Care Reform” preconference workshop, which provided a real-time update on health reform’s impact on labor, employee benefits and health law issues as they affect health care HR matters as well as what is happening in Washington, D.C., on health reform.

Bruce, a member of the Health Law and Labor & Employment practice groups, and Mark, a member of the Labor & Employment practice group, also spoke on the “Health Care HR Hot Topics” panel. Michael, vice chair of the firm’s Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group, spoke on a panel titled, “ An HR Executive Guide to Navigating Executive Compensation.”
