Prosperity Through Free Trade with Korea

Chicago partner Brian Rupp will speak about the planned liberalization of the Korean legal market at the “Prosperity Through Free Trade with Korea” seminar on Nov. 8 at Chicago-Kent College of Law. The discussion follows a recent article he co-authored with new Chicago associate Jen Kim, “Opening of the Hermit Kingdom: Liberalization of the Korean Legal Services Market Pursuant to the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement.”

The seminar will highlight the potential benefits of the United States’ recent free trade agreement with South Korea. The seminar, co-sponsored by the U.S.-Korea Business Council, Consulate General of Korea, World Trade Center in Illinois and KOTRA Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, also features speakers from Hyundai, Eli Lilly and the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
