Success Strategies

Women in Business Summit

Andrea D’Ambra, an associate in the Philadelphia office, will participate on a panel at the Women in Business Summit hosted by U.S. Congressman Joe Sestak on July 23 at Thomas Great Hall at Bryn Mawr College. The summit – held in conjunction with the U.S. Business Committee Congressional Field Hearing – is a chance for women business leaders, business owners, community leaders and working women in Delaware County to discuss the challenges that are facing them. Andrea will be on a panel discussing “Success Strategies” for the business world. Topics to be discussed include making it in the corporate environment and transitioning back into the workforce after dealing with such hardships as being a victim of domestic violence. Andrea will focus her portion of the discussion on the importance of mentoring and support systems at the workplace. The field hearing, scheduled to take place earlier in the day, titled, “Challenges Facing Women Small Business Owners,” will be presided over by U. S. House of Representatives Small Business Committee Chairwoman Nydia Velazquez (D-NY).
