IRS Position in Adverse PLR Gives Insights For Tax-Exempt ACOs

Sullivan was quoted in BNA’s Daily Tax Report on December 19, 2011.  T.J. gave the practitioner’s perspective on an IRS private letter ruling (PLR) that denies a tax exemption to a hospital-controlled entity organized primarily to facilitate contracting with health insurers and provider networks.
