Quin R. Frazer is a partner and member of the Private Client Practice Group.  Quin has enjoyed a career assisting individuals in all areas of estate planning and representing wealthy individuals and their families and family businesses and foundations.

From 2003-2011, Quin was selected as one of the Leading Lawyers in Illinois in Trust, Will and Estate Planning Law.  He has also been selected as one of the Super Lawyers from 2006-2011 and has been listed in the 2007 through 2011 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Non-Profit/Charities Law and Trusts and Estates. Quin has also received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Quin works closely with the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group in representing individuals and charitable organizations as beneficiaries in will and trust disputes and also in representing individual and corporate fiduciaries in will and trust construction matters.

Quin is a frequent lecturer and writer on estate planning and charitable giving matters for wealthy individuals and families, he also speaks nationally on the fiduciary duties and liabilities of directors of non-profit corporations and the trustees of charitable trusts.  He has presented speeches to the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Instutute for Continuing Legal Education.  Among the articles he has written include,  Joint Tenancies in Estate Planning, Third Annual Notre Dame Estate Planning Institute and Planning Alternatives When Section 303 Redemptions Are Not Available, Sixth Annual Notre Dame Estate Planning Institute.

Quin was an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago Law School.  He sits on a number of advisory committees for charities, is a former chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Probate Practice Committee and former chair of Chicago Commons Association, a Chicago social service agency. 

Quin is a graduate of Mount St. Paul College, a seminary college, and received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1975.  He is also a husband and father of adult children.  He enjoys working out, attending cultural events and traveling with his wife.
