Maya Yusim secures patent protection in the fields of electronics and software, with a particular emphasis on wireless communication and networking technologies. Maya’s strong technical background and years of research and development work as an engineer coupled with her extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, allow her to quickly understand clients’ technologies and innovations and to efficiently obtain strong patents to protect their intellectual property rights.
During school, Maya served as a research assistant at the University of Illinois's Center for Computational Electromagnetics, where she developed software for calculation and display of electromagnetic scattering patterns, as well as antenna radiation fields for a variety of antenna configurations.
Prior to her patent law career, Maya was a senior electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman where she designed and implemented communication systems for airborne radar applications.
