About

Albert M. Singer is experienced in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, leasing, and financing. He represents clients in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions in connection with the acquisition, disposition and development of improved and unimproved real property. Albert negotiates, prepares and reviews various documents, including Agreements of Sale, easements, restrictive covenants, leases, licenses and corporate documents. Albert is experienced in performing due diligence, including title and survey review in connection with acquisitions, dispositions and financing of real estate, and is proficient in guiding clients through the land development approval process.

Albert has experience representing lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of real estate financing transactions, including the preparation and review of loan documents and security instruments and the performance of due diligence.

Albert is committed to pro bono work and has dedicated time counseling not-for-profit organizations on real estate and development related matters. Albert recently appeared before a municipal planning board in New Jersey on behalf of a not-for-profit organization and secured approvals for its land development project. His commitment to his clients goes beyond document preparation and closings - he assists them by formulating effective strategies to accomplish business objectives and resolve real estate disputes. Albert values not only the importance of guiding a client through a transaction, but also providing thoughtful and meaningful advice along the way.

During law school, Albert served as a law clerk and summer associate at several Texas-based law firms and served as a judicial intern for the Supreme Court of Texas, Chambers of Justice David Medina, in Austin, Texas.

  • Represented a buyer in the acquisition of a $3.5M office building by preparing and negotiating the purchase and sale agreement and closing documents and performing due diligence, title and survey review.
  • Represented a developer in the $75M acquisition of raw land for development as a shopping center by performing due diligence, title and survey review.
  • Represented a developer in the $27.5M acquisition of a site for condominiums by performing due diligence, title and survey review.
  • Represented a buyer in the $80M acquisition of an entertainment shopping center by performing due diligence, title and survey review.
  • Represented a lender in a $3.3M advancing line of credit in connection with the borrower's acquisition of two apartment complexes by preparing loan documents, security instruments and various other documents.
