Lori L. Shannon advises private and public companies and tax-exempt entities on the design, implementation and compliance of employee benefit and executive compensation plans and arrangements, including tax-qualified retirement plans, 403(b) plans, health and welfare benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and equity-based incentive plans. She also assists clients with the design and drafting of executive and physician employment agreements and with the negotiation of contracts with plan service providers. Lori provides advice to clients on plan compliance and correction issues, with a focus on practical solutions that best meet the client’s needs. She counsels clients on fiduciary governance and best practices and provides fiduciary training to committees at the board and management levels. Lori also advises clients on employees benefit and executive compensation issues in the context of corporate transactions. Lori is counsel in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group.
Lori previously worked as a human resources consultant at Ernst & Young LLP and brings with her valuable experience from the professional services industry.
